Email domain health
Enter a domain. We look up the public records that decide whether other servers trust mail from that name, then grade what we find and say what to change.
Looks up public DNS only. Nothing you type is stored. The result is a grade, not a guarantee of inbox placement.
How to use it
- Type the domain on the right of the @ sign, such as example.co.za.
- Read the grade and the line for each record. A fail means mail is easier to spoof or more likely to be rejected.
- Change the DNS record named in the fix, then run the check again after the record has propagated.
Questions
- Does this send a test email?
- No. It reads public DNS only. It does not log in to a mailbox and it does not store the domain.
- Why would a .co.za domain fail DMARC?
- Many South African domains publish SPF and nothing else. Without DMARC, receivers have no published policy when SPF or DKIM fails.
- Can you fix the records for us?
- The page only reports what is public. Changing DNS is done at the host that serves the domain. SuperStack can review the mail setup with you if you want a person involved.
An automated client can POST JSON to /api/tools/email-health with domain. The OpenAPI document is at /api/tools, with a short guide at /llms.txt. Nothing submitted is stored.
